Where we are

Most Christians will live the majority of their lives in an urban setting. We think that the city is therefore a great place to do discipleship. We want students to learn to live as a Christian in the environmnet most of us will live our lives in.

Our Building
We are located in a normal residential neighborhood on the east side of Edmonton, Alberta. Our building is an old church building which we have renovated to better suit our purposes for it (classes, library, offices and hanging out).

The building is just a meeting place. Mount Carmel is located in life. Wherever students live, work, worship and serve, Mount Carmel is happening. Because Mt. Carmel is about learning to live all of life in a way that reflects Jesus’ control of our lives.

Our Neighbourhood
Located in the Goldbar district of Southeast Edmonton, (near Capilano mall), we are close to downtown, the phenomenal river valley trail system, public transportation, and real life.

Our City
Edmonton is home to almost 1 million people. We have professional sports teams, the Oilers and Eskimos, as well as many recreational sports making Edmonton an active place to be. With more urban parkland than any other city in North America, it is a beautiful place to be. We have many concerts and arts festivals making it an expressive place to be. With the world’s biggest mall, West Edmonton Mall, and Historic Whyte Ave, it is a happening place to be.

Our Province
