While we welcome people from all backgrounds and countries, a basic working knowledge of English is necessary. People for whom English is a second language will be asked to complete a TOEFL score.

Any students whose first language is not English need to score 440 on the paper based TOEFL test. Students scoring lower that 550 on the TOEFL will be required to participate in an ESL course at an additional cost of $1000 per year.
