On Saturday, March 3, Mount Carmel hosted, for the second year, Wholly Women–Deeply Rooted, a seminar that is geared towards discussing issues that are relevant to women. This year, 80 women met together to hear Beth Murray speak about the importance of boundaries and how the maintaining of healthy boundaries rooted in God’s truth really does shape how you experience life. Some highlights of the day included fellowship with women from 9 different denominations and all ages, a great time of worship led by Katy Splane, a healthy and delicious soup and bread lunch, and, of course, hearing Beth share both personal stories and professional expertise in the areas of boundaries and healing, using Ephesians 3:17-19 as a central theme. Thank you to those who came out to Wholly Women and to those who made this event run smoothly (especially our male students who came out to prepare and serve lunch)!
