Staff Profile: Jessica Sheppard
Jessica takes care of all the financial aspects of Mount Carmel, sheʼs the registrar, sheʼs the office manager, and she does whatever is necessary to keep the school up and running. But, even with all that, she still has time to be involved in discipleship with the students. Jessica says she loves Mount Carmel because the students keep her laughing, she gets to work with people she respects and admires, and things like going to chapel or going canoeing are part of her job. Sheʼs excited about being part of the Mount Carmel team and playing an important part in helping students learn how to be disciples of Jesus.
Along with her work at Mount Carmel, Jessica is in her second year as the head coach for the womenʼs volleyball team at Taylor University College. She is also involved with Big Brotherʼs and Big Sisterʼs and has been meeting with the same “little sister” for 10 years.
Before coming to Mount Carmel, Jessica worked in a bank and as a legal assistant. She has a business degree from Kingʼs University College.
