Staff Profile: Clint Porritt
Clint loves the community at Mount Carmel and the opportunity to study, learn, and grow with a body of believers, both students and staff. Heʼs excited about transforming lives and helping students become apprentices of Jesus. Clint teaches Introduction to the Bible and he will be helping the school out with his skills and experience in promotion. He has been heavily involved in promotion within the local music and arts community and headed up the team running the Edmonton HarvestMoon Festival for five years.
Clint is married to Jennifer and they have two children: Maia and Sam. Theyʼve been living in Edmonton for the past 12 years, but in the summer of 2008 they packed up their lives, unplugged from everything and took a cross-Canada adventure, logging over 22,500 kilometers on their van in 3 months. Clinton loves doing just about anything outdoors, so they did lots of camping, hiking, fishing and just enjoying our beautiful country.
Before he came to Carmel Clint worked for 12 years in youth ministry, spending the last 6 years leading youth and young adult ministries at Bethel Community Church in Edmonton. Clinton is an alumnus of Mount Carmel and has a degree in Christian Studies from Taylor University College.
