ABOUT FOCUS

FOCUS is a weekend conference annually hosted by Mount Carmel Bible School for senior high students and young adults (up to age 21).  Our conference weekend is packed with a lot of excitement and energy.  You can come expecting to experience great food, crazy activities, new connections, a challenging speaker and progressive worship with the Focus band.

SPEAKER

Doug Siewart is passionate about great stories adn how they are told–in movies, novels, songs and everyday life.  Doug will speak about "Living God's Big Story"–showing how our own stories can be written inside the story that God is writing.  Doug is a pastor, teacher and father who has studied film and theology at Regent College in Vancouver.

ACTIVITIES

• A night out at the World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall
• Collective worship with the Focus band and special guests
• Spontaneous adventure, sumo suits, nerf games and more!

DETAILS

Please bring:  Indoor shoes, swimming stuff for Saturday evening, as well as outdoor winter clothes and boots.  Please do not bring valuables or technology such as iPods, etc.

COST

UPDATE (FEB. 2): ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  WALK-IN REGISTRATION RATES NOW IN EFFECT.

Cost includes a Focus t-shirt, as well as all meals and activities.  Please note that weekend accomodations are not provided, however Focus is committed to helping individuals or groups find accomodations.  Please contact us for more information.  We would love to help out.

LOCATION

Focus is hosted at Mount Carmel Bible School in Edmonton, Alberta.  We are located at 4725-106 Avenue, just south of the river.
