ABOUT FOCUS

FOCUS is a weekend conference annually hosted by Mount Carmel Bible School for senior high students and young adults (up to age 21).  Our conference weekend is packed with a lot of excitement and energy.  You can come expecting to experience great food, crazy activities, new connections, a challenging speaker and progressive worship with the Focus band.

SPEAKER

Wayne Tomalty specializes in trying. His enjoyment of effort is part of his motivation for long distance running. He also puts effort into raising a family and working at Mount Carmel Bible School.

One of Wayne's favorite failures was missing being accepted into the Boston Marathon because he took 9 seconds too long on his qualifying run.

Wayne wants people to know that following Jesus is not about success or failure as much as it is about effort in God's direction.

ACTIVITIES

• Evening banquet and The unTalent Show
• Collective worship with the Focus band and special guests
• Spontaneous adventure, sumo suits, nerf games and more!

Sunday, February 3

11:00 am - Brunch
12:00 pm - Activities
1:00 pm - Final Session
2:00 pm - Wrap-Up

Please bring outside winter clothing, including outdoor footwear, as well as a pair of indoor gym shoes.  Please do not bring valuables or technology such as iPods, etc.

COST

Cost includes a Focus t-shirt, as well as all meals and activities. Please note that weekend accomodations are not provided, however Focus is committed to helping individuals or groups find accomodations. Please contact us for more information.  We would love to help out.

LOCATION

Focus is hosted at Mount Carmel Bible School in Edmonton, Alberta.  We are located at 4725-106 Avenue, just south of the river.
